  1. Getting my wordpress legs

    December 14, 2005 by Daniel

I’ve imported quite a few posts from my other blogs, but many seem to have been put in the wrong category or the links inside the posts arent behaving properly at all!

Grr, it’s going to take some editing!

  2. New WordPress Installation!

    December 14, 2005 by Daniel

Finally then, I installed wordpress. It`s running on my laptop at the moment but hopefully soon i`ll get it set up on my main site hosting.

It’s doing something funny with apostrophe’s too.

  3. Hello

    December 9, 2005 by Daniel

    Yes, I am still here!
Not much happening really this week. My presentation is on tuesday, went to see Bill Black about it today that was a bit of a harsh meeting but oh well, plenty to do now to prepare…
Got one other piece due in next week will probably be starting that wednesday.
Tomorrow night I’m going to take Kate to the uni panto I go to every year. It’s done by Rag and a few of my friends from halls are involved. Sunday we’re going to my friend Chris’ Choral recital. Should be a bit of a change.

And yes the family have finally moved. My home residence is no longer Outwoods Drive, Loughborough. The Nisbet family is now resident in the village of Walton-on-the-wolds.

Of other note, I found a new little app that tells me where and when my laptop and iPod were made.

    Laptop: PowerBook G4 12″ 867Mhz G4
    Taiwan: Between 30/06/2003 and 6/7/2003

    iPod. 20GB 3rd Generation
    China: Between 14/6/2004 and 20/6/2004

I was entertained by the set, and yet was dissapointed, it wasn””t as good as the last time I saw him in late 2004 at the Apollo Manchester. That time, everybody was into him. They were singing along and his special guests were great – UNKLE and Noel Gallagher.
Whereas for this gig, the london stint of his greatest hits tour there were no special guests. Good songs? Yes. The man is good.

  5. RapidWeaver Update

    December 3, 2005 by Daniel

So I updated RapidWeaver the program I use to edit the site, but it didn’t have the theme I was using anymore so, obviously, i’ve changed it.
I’m not 100% happy with it. But for now it’ll have to do.

  7. Front Row

    December 3, 2005 by Daniel

using this excellent guide I installed Front Row today on my powerbook. Works amazingly. I know I had to use a hack to install it but it’s such a good idea Apple are bound to release it as an app for everybody soon enough.
My only problem is iPhoto didn’t work. But I expect it’s because it’s not the latest version.

  8. Saturday

    December 3, 2005 by Daniel

Finished Requirements Engineering Coursework yesterday at last. Was quite a drag of a piece of work really.

Kate’s gone to work tonight for her first shift at the clock tower, i’m at her’s at the moment but her housemate Lucy was asking if I was still here when she left as if they don’t want me here when Kate’s not. But i’m in Kate’s room which is quite detached from the rest of the house, so because of that I’ll have to leave in a little while to go to mine. After we did all their cleaning and washing up too.
